Our Story

Owner and founder, Sally Robinson, started AmpleBosom from her Yorkshire farmhouse in 1999 having been inspired by one of her employees who struggled to find a nice bra for her wedding day. Sally subsequently spotted a gap in the market and hasn’t looked back since! The story of the business has been spread far and wide, including a number of articles on BBC News and you can read about us as Farm of the Week in the Yorkshire Post and our farm diversification story in the Farmers Guardian.

Today, we supply bras and underwear worldwide and handpick the very best collections from a number of designers including the renowned: Empreinte, Elomi and Fantasie.

Over the years, Sally and AmpleBosom have received several awards recognising both Sally’s entrepreneurship and rural diversification, as well as the business’ success as an online retailer.

Directions By Car

Leave the A1 by the A168, junction 49, to Thirsk, and then follow the Scarborough & East Coast road, the A170.

Seven miles out of Thirsk the road climbs steeply up Sutton Bank, follow this road until you come to Cold Kirby and you will see a left hand sign to Old Byland, follow this quiet road and after approx 2 miles you will find Valley View Farm, the home to AmpleBosom.com.
