- Body corselettes as a standard are made for individuals who are 5’5” tall
- If you’re taller than 5’5”, try a larger back size and a smaller cup size Eg. If your usual size is 38G, then try 40F
- If you’re shorter than 5’5”, try a smaller back size and bigger cup size Eg. If your usual size is 38G, then try 36H

Here are some indicators that your corselette is the right size for your body.
- The straps should sit comfortably between the shoulders and neck, not slipping off or digging in
- The straps should run parallel at the back
- Your breasts should be encased in the cups with no bulging, gaping, puckering or wrinkling
- The corset part of the bodyshaper should not dig into your midriff or waist
- The body should cover your bottom well, not feeling stretched or pulling on your bottom or shoulders
- You should be able to close the popper fastening comfortably and it shouldn’t dig in
- On a wired corselette, the wires should lie flat and not dig in
