One of the things we really like about Sculptresse by Panache is the choice of sizes. The collection is UK sized and, depending on the style, ranges from 32-46 back sizes and D-K cups.
But before we started telling you all about Sculptresse bras, there was only one thing for it - get the bras on and try them ourselves.
We've been fitting bras for a long time now, and if there's one thing we know, it's that you can read all about a bra online and still have no real idea how it'll feel once it's on. How does the shape look? Is it comfortable? Does it give you the support you're looking for? And would you actually choose to wear it again?
So we handed some of the Sculptresse collection round the team and asked everyone to be completely honest. No scripted reviews, no "it's lovely" if it wasn't – just what we genuinely thought.
And, as you'd probably expect from a team with different shapes and different tastes, we didn't all agree!
Here's how our team got on when we tried them.
Sculptresse Liberty: A Comfortable Plunge
Francesca chose the Sculptresse Liberty Underwired Plunge Bra -10846, which is available in black or mocha, as plunge is normally her go-to style.
She found it fitted really well and was very comfortable, with the centre sitting nicely against the body. She did notice that it gave her a little more separation than she’s used to and, because it doesn’t have side support, the shape was slightly rounder than her usual bras but after wearing it for a full day under a top, she found herself getting used to the shape.
Sally tried Liberty too and had a different reaction. It wasn't quite her style, but she could completely see the appeal for anyone who loves a lower-cut plunge.
And that's really the point - we're all different, and we all like different things.
Sculptresse Bliss: Comfortable With Good Coverage
Betty tried the Sculptresse Bliss Underwired Full Cup Bra - 10685, available in noir and hazel, and really liked how comfortable it felt.
She particularly noticed the good cup coverage and the smooth finish across both the top of the cups and the back wings.
The Bliss does have a little more coverage around the underarm, which Betty liked, although she felt this could be something shorter customers might notice more.
Again, it’s one of those things that comes down to personal preference and body shape. Some people love a little more coverage and smoothing, while others prefer something lower and more open.
For anyone looking for a comfortable full cup Sculptresse bra, Bliss is definitely one to look at.
Sculptresse Estel: A Comfortable Full Cup
Donna usually wears a plunge bra too, but when she saw the Sculptresse Estel Full Cup Bra - 9685, available in honey, noir and navy, it was the pretty lace and lovely navy colour that caught her attention.
She also really liked the feel of the wings. They’re made from a double layer, which she found soft and comfortable.
The fit was a little unexpected for her. The band fitted perfectly, but she found the cup slightly bigger than she expected. She wondered whether changing from the plunge shape she normally wears to a full-cup style made a difference.
And it’s a good reminder that bra styles can fit very differently, even when you normally know exactly what size you wear.
A full cup, plunge, balcony or moulded bra can all sit differently on the body, which is why trying different shapes can sometimes be really worthwhile.
Sculptresse Amara: A Surprising Team Favourite
Tania tried the Sculptresse Amara Full Cup Bra - 11265 , available in honey and black colourways, and perhaps surprisingly, this one turned out to be a real favourite.
She normally wears moulded bras, so she wasn’t expecting to like this style quite as much as she did.
But she found it really comfortable, with a soft, comfortable band and supportive cups. It sat nicely and felt secure without being uncomfortable.
Her verdict?
She actually preferred it to her other bras.
And we think that’s one of the nicest things about trying something new. Sometimes you have a very clear idea of the type of bra you normally wear, only to discover that something completely different works even better for you.
Eileen was really positive about Amara as well. She found it comfortable, liked the lace detailing and, importantly, found that it didn’t dig in.
She had also been reading reviews before choosing her size and decided to go up a size from what she would normally wear. That turned out to be a good decision, as the bra fitted her well.
It’s another example of why it can be useful to look at reviews and fit information when trying a new brand - particularly if you’re not sure how a particular style is going to work for you.
Sculptresse Esme: A Lovely Forward Shape
Rebecca tried the Sculptresse Esme Underwired Balcony Bra - 10921, which is a balconette style, and one of the first things she noticed was the shape.
It gave a really lovely forward shape. She is not always drawn to a balconette style, but really liked the way this one shaped and supported her.
Something else stood out too - the back of the bra.
It's a detail she noticed across the Sculptresse bras. The back feels really soft, smooth and comfortable, and it’s something we haven’t come across in quite the same way before.
It’s easy to concentrate on the cups and forget about the rest of the bra, but a comfortable back makes such a difference when you’re wearing a bra all day.
A bra needs to feel good all the way around - not just at the front.
And What About the Sculptresse Body Briefs?
It wasn’t just the bras that got tested.
A few of us tried the Sculptresse Body Deep Briefs, and these got a definite thumbs up for comfort.
They feel really comfortable to wear and, importantly, clothes sat nicely over them. They give a smooth finish without feeling restrictive, which makes them a great everyday option.
They also washed nicely, and we thought the price was really good too.
Sometimes it’s the simple everyday pieces that end up being the ones you reach for most often – and these definitely fall into that category.

Alongside the styles we tried, the Sculptresse collection has plenty more to explore. The Sophia Underwired Full Cup Bra - 11195 is a great everyday option, with full coverage cups, side support and a flexible lace top cup for a supportive and comfortable fit.
For those looking for support while exercising, there’s also the Activate Wired Sports Bra - 9441. Designed for a fuller bust, it combines an underwired encapsulated design with breathable fabric, a high neckline and convertible racer-back straps for extra support and freedom of movement.
So, What Did We Actually Think of Sculptresse?
The interesting thing about trying all these Sculptresse bras was just how different everyone's opinions were. Some of us wanted a plunge, some preferred more coverage, some were drawn to lace and pretty details, while others were more interested in comfort and shape. Some of us stuck with the styles we normally wear; others were surprised by how much they liked something completely different.
That's exactly why we wanted to try them ourselves before telling you about Sculptresse. There isn't one bra that suits everyone - the right bra depends on your shape, what you like, how you want your bust to look and, perhaps most importantly, how you want to feel wearing it. That's where having a choice really matters.
